A one woman play with music
A semi-autobiographical play written by Dhara and Emma Denson, incorporating some of Dhara’s original music.
The play intertwines themes and elements of Jane Eyre ( in particular Jane’s friendship with Helen) with semi-autobiographical accounts of Dhara’s own life. Please see Press Release below for a more detailed account.
It will be performed at the new Barnes Fireside Folktales Fringe Festival on both 23rd May and 24th May. The venue is picturesque and sat in beautiful park surroundings where there is a very large pond, a theatre and cafe (which serves both savouries and sweets). A Summer’s day that would suit a lovely picnic and a glass of prosecco either before or after the performance! Come with friends!
